Bourn Legacy is a private reflection platform designed to help people recognize patterns, make wiser decisions, and build healthier legacies. It is operated by Purpose Bourn Technologies, based in Tennessee, United States.

Bourn Legacy is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for professional care.

Some features of Bourn Legacy use artificial intelligence to generate questions, reflections, summaries, and insights based on the information you choose to share.

AI-generated content is intended to support personal reflection and self-awareness. It should not be considered medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

You remain responsible for the decisions you make.

• You must be at least 16 to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account.
• You can stop using Bourn Legacy at any time. To delete your account and reflections, see our Privacy Policy.

Please don't:

• Use Bourn Legacy to harm yourself or others, or to break the law.
• Attempt to access another person's account or data.
• Probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Bourn Legacy or its infrastructure.
• Submit content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Use Bourn Legacy to generate harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or illegal content.
• Attempt to misuse the AI or intentionally interfere with the experience of other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or put Bourn Legacy or other users at risk.

Your reflections belong to you. You retain ownership of everything you write.

We receive only the limited rights necessary to securely store, encrypt, back up, process, and display your reflections as part of providing Bourn Legacy. We do not use your reflections to train public AI models. See the Privacy Policy for details.

We work to keep Bourn Legacy reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make material changes that meaningfully reduce functionality you depend on, we'll give reasonable notice when we can.

We may occasionally perform maintenance, security updates, or improvements that temporarily affect availability. When practical, we'll communicate planned maintenance in advance.

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant us permission to use those ideas to improve Bourn Legacy without additional compensation.

This does not affect ownership of your personal reflections or other personal content.

Your use of Bourn Legacy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Bourn Legacy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Reflections, prompts, and insights are offered for personal reflection only and are not professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purpose Bourn Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of Bourn Legacy. Our total liability for any claim related to Bourn Legacy is limited to the amount you paid us for Bourn Legacy in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $50 if you paid nothing).

You can stop using Bourn Legacy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability) will do so.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, unless your local consumer-protection laws require otherwise.

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, when appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

We believe technology should serve people, not the other way around.

These Terms exist to protect both you and Bourn Legacy so we can continue building a thoughtful, trustworthy place for reflection, wisdom, and personal growth.
